What's with science?

For the last 10 years, I have mistakenly remembered that the bugs with the coffin-shaped backs were classified as hymenoptera. But just now a bug came in, and I googled him, and it turns out that those bugs are called hemiptera.

Here is another thing I learned, which is kind of messed up. BITING lice are classified as Mallophaga, but SUCKING lice are classified as Siphunculata.

(Siphunculata suck!)

BUT, mantises and roaches are both classified as Dictyoptera.

Do you know where I can touch real bugs?

This morning on the train the man in the seat in front of me was reading a newspaper, which had an ad inviting people to "Touch Real Bugs!" But the man's finger was covering up the location.

I want to touch real bugs.
