Here is a sign that was up on the door to the Wilmington Fringe Opening Gala.



It may have been intended as a Koan.

The entire Wilmington Fringe experience provided many spiritual lessons.

Requesting sb to do sth

It really bothers me that in the back of Philly cabs there is a sign that reads:

A driver may request a passenger to: (and then the things)

We don't request somebody to do something.

It wouldn't be that hard to make the heading: "A driver may request that a passenger:"

I am officially more out of touch than ever before

Cara says: What is "FTW?"
Steven says: For the win.
Cara says: What does that MEAN?
Steven says:It's just like an expression of excitement! Transformers FTW!
Cara says: Could you give me an example of how to use that?
Steven says: Very simply, generally. If you're excited about going to... let's say play baseball, you could say, "Baseball FTW!"
