Fall Earrings!

All year I have been waiting for the "Halloween" earrings (bats, spiders, ghosts, skeletons etc) to come back so I can stock up. I don't know where last year's all went. Into coat pockets and onto sidewalks I guess.

The nice girl at Tselaine asked where I got my ghost earrings, and I was embarrassed to tell her. But there was a 2 for 1 sale at Claire's.

I really, really wanted to make an ossuary after I learned what that is, but all my sculpey had dried up, and the internet said that there is no way to get it back once it's gone.

Shabbat Junkie

Last night Ben and Emma had Shabbat at their house- it was Challah and tacos, sangria, folk singers, artists and teachers. If I could make a church, I'd make it like that.

After dinner Ben and his friends played guitar, banjo and two mandolins while we ate cake with our hands from potluck dishes.

It's the city I love and I am homesick.
