When I went to watch the This American Life movie, and I looked around at all the hipsters, I had a revelation, which is that *I* am a hipster.
Why deny it? I might not have the pants, or the haircut, but it's only because I'm not putting enough effort in.
I didn't really like being lame at being a hipster, but then Rat coined the term "hobhipster" which is like a "hobgoblin" (lesser goblin.)
This is much more suitable.

English or Math?
We were fighting over which was better for expressing complex ideas, English (which is unruly, but apt) or math, (which is precise.) Dan translated a line from The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock into math. We gave that to a mathematician, who decoded it. But the question remains unresolved. Please weigh in...

No problem, I coined it because I realised that that's what *I* was. I like good coffee and craft beer and baguettes on a saturday morning and live music, but I don't have tight jeans and a full beard or a stupid hat.
