Where be your gibes now?

I swear that I read somewhere about a man in Canada who tried to get into the Shaw Festival all of his life, and when he died, he willed his skull to the festival and requested that it be allowed to play Yorick in Hamlet, but the festival rejected it as unsanitary.

But I can't find any record of the story anywhere.
